Community Education provides opportunities for youth of all ages to participate in enrichment and recreation activities.

Opportunities vary throughout the year, be sure to review the Community Education brochure and this website for updated announcements.

Howard Lake Summer Recreation
All grades are based on the grade the student was in for the 2020-21 school year. Schedule may change due to number of registrants for each activity.
Baseball & softball practices will be at Yager Field, 9th Street and 9th Avenue, Howard Lake. Day games will be scheduled home and away against Waverly Summer Recreation. Optional bussing to Waverly for games departs from Yager Field.
No practices will be held on Wednesday afternoons or Fridays. These times will be used for other activities such as soccer, disc golf and kickball.
To ensure receiving a summer rec t-shirt, registrations must be received by May 25. Registrations for baseball and softball will not be accepted by phone. 
 
 
Waverly Summer Recreation

The Waverly Boosters and the City of Waverly will offer daytime baseball and softball to children from age 5 to completion of grade 6. Programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball and softball to boys and girls. Children will have the opportunity to play a variety of positions. HLWW Community Education is the contact for questions you may have regarding Waverly Summer Recreation, 320-543-4670.

 

June 14-July 16, no summer recreation will be held on July 2 or 5. No ball Wednesday afternoons or Fridays. The first week will be practice followed by four weeks of games and practices. A complete schedule will be posted and given out at practice.

$30 registration fee, T-shirts are included
