The HLWW Activities Department is dedicated to providing students with a well-rounded educational experience beyond the classroom.

Athletics

• HLWW offers a variety of competitive sports for students. Our teams participate in the Wright County Conference and strive for excellence both on and off the field.
• Our coaches emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.
• Community service projects, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities are integral to our activities.

Fine Arts

• The fine arts program at HLWW encourages creativity and expression. Students can participate in:
  • Visual Arts – Art classes, exhibits, and showcases.
  • Theater and Drama – Productions, musicals, and plays.
  • Band and Choir – Opportunities to perform at concerts, competitions, and community events.

Clubs and Organizations

• HLWW students can join various clubs and organizations, fostering their interests and building connections:
  • Yearbook Club – Capturing memories and preserving school history.
  • National Honor Society – Recognizing academic achievement and community service.
  • Student Council – Leadership and school events.

What is Bound?

Bound is the website/app that HLWW uses as a “one-stop shop” for management of sports and activities. Families can use Bound to register students for sports and activities (including uploading physical forms and completing other required documents), and to ensure that they have access to updated schedules and receive communication from coaches. Fans and families can also buy tickets for games and events, see live scores and view team rosters.

To use Bound, parents will need to set up a profile on the website or in the app and then add family members to register them for sports and activities. Many families find it easiest to download the app on their phone to make sure they have the latest information as activity schedules sometimes change at the last minute.
