World War II


The Second World War was a turning point for millions of theworld’s citizens, from those who fought the war to those who sufferedbombardments, imprisonment, dislocation and death. In this class we will study the causes, the course, and the aftermath of World War II. It will handle the geographic areas involved, the major diplomatic, political figures, and military events of the war.  Students will study the war from variedperspectives, evaluate choices made by war-time leaders, and examine the battlefronts, thehome fronts, and the military strategies.
