Greetings to students, parents, and community members!
I am very excited to return for my 2nd year as a member of the HLWW High School teaching staff! My classes include American Government, Economics, World History, and U.S. History. The 2013-2014 school year is going to be a great mixture of hard work, activities, and fun!
A little bit about myself -- I grew up in Albertville, MN and graduated from STMA in 2001. I went on to complete my undergraduate degree at St. Cloud State University in 2006. Since then, I have taken advantage of several different types of teaching opportunities, ranging from substitute teaching to instructing an International Debate Camp at UC Berkeley to teaching English in China with the Peace Corps. In my spare time, you can usually find me practicing the cello, reading, day dreaming about my next travel adventure, gardening, or cooking.
Again, looking forward to a truly stellar year with HLWW students!
