HLWW High Kick Dance Club
Girls Grades 7-12
Be a part of the new HLWW Lakers High Kick Dance Club. Learn a high kick routine. Practices include stretching, learning high kick technique, choreographed routines and formations.
Practices: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3-4:45 pm in the Middle School Commons
Participants may ride activity bus home or be picked up from school November 8, 13, 15, December 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, January 3, 8, 10
Fee: $10, payable to Community Education District 2687, participants may request a partial fee waiver.

Mrs. Lawrence is MNSHAPE Middle School Teacher of the Year!
It gives HLWW Public Schools great pleasure to inform you that Melanie Lawrence, MS physical education and health teacher, has been chosen to receive the Minnesota Society of Health and Physical Educators’ (MN SHAPE) Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year Award!
As the Minnesota Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the year, Melanie will be eligible to be considered for the Central District and then the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America) National Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year.
Melanie will be honored at an award ceremony, which will take place during the MN SHAPE State Conference on November 9th in Plymouth, MN.
Congratulations Mrs. Lawrence! We are so very proud of you!

HLWW Hall of Fame Nominations
HLWW Public Schools is planning for the 2018 induction of new members into its Hall of Fame. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2017. Click on the link below to print the form. Completed forms should be submitted to the HLWW District Office. A committee will review the applications and make the final selections. If you have submitted a nomination in the past, you do not need to resubmit. Those submissions are on file and will be up for consideration again this year.
